Arctic Monkeys

Arctic Monkeys is a British alternative rock band formed in Sheffield in 2002. Known for their distinctive style and witty lyrics, their debut album, "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" (2006), became the best-selling debut album in UK history.

The band's name comes from the idea that they would be "cooler than the Arctic Monkeys," a quip made during a conversation.

They have evolved musically over the years and continue to be an innovative force in alternative rock.
