Pixies

Pixies is an influential alternative rock band formed in Boston in 1986.

Known for their distinctive style, which combines elements of punk, surf rock, and noise pop, they have been a major influence on alternative music.

Their debut album, "Surfer Rosa" (1988), includes the iconic song "Where Is My Mind?".

The band broke up in 1993 and reunited in 2004. Their breakup was largely attributed to internal tensions.

Despite the differences, they remain a cult band loved for their innovation and avant-garde sound.
