One of the most successful names to emerge from the metalcore movement, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, finally returns to Portugal to headline the EVIL LIVE FESTIVAL on June 30, more than a decade after their last visit. Along the way, they have undergone both stylistic and internal changes, ascending to a prominent place in the pantheon of modern metal. They have collected gold and platinum records, and "Life Is But A Dream..." marked their return with its release in June 2023.
On the same day, June 30, MEGADETH takes the stage at the Evil Live Festival, bringing to Portugal for the first time the tracks from the new "The Sick, The Dying... And The Dead!" along with a repertoire of classics spanning several generations. Formed in 1983 by guitarist and vocalist Dave Mustaine, they are one of the most successful thrash bands of the 80s.
Also confirmed for the second day of the EVIL LIVE FESTIVAL on June 30 are ELECTRIC CALLBOY and CORROSION OF CONFIRMITY. With over 11 million views of some singles on YouTube, the former brings back the carefree fun of live music with a colorful, explosive metalcore and electronicore party. The latter has been delivering some of the most listened-to licks and riffs in heavy music history for four decades and will return to the stage next year with their eleventh studio album.
After nearly a decade away from summer festivals, MACHINE HEAD will take the stage on the opening night of the EVIL LIVE FESTIVAL in 2024. Stronger than ever, Robb Flynn and company will bring the tracks from the highly acclaimed "Øf Kingdøm And Crøwn" and, above all, the usual fireworks capable of driving the audience wild.
Also on June 29, 2024, the first day of the EVIL LIVE FESTIVAL, the national debut of JILUKA, a revered Japanese metal group and one of the strongest standard-bearers of the visual kei movement, is guaranteed.
