Toxikull will open the event on June 15 in the Tejo concerts hall of the MEO Arena.
After two apotheotic concerts to present the new album "Under The Southern Light" in Lisbon and Porto, TOXIKULL will perform the first part of KREATOR's long-awaited return to Portugal. With their highly applauded third album of originals causing the talk among the most traditional heavy metal fans, on June 15th, the musicians led by the charismatic Lex Thunder take the stage at the Sala Tejo of the MEO Arena, and join the legends from Germanic thrash to a night of celebration of eternal sound.
Since joining in 2016, TOXIKULL has been slowly building his career in a very intelligent way. Fiercely embodying the DIY spirit, they have grown by leaps and bounds, taking all the right steps, never bigger than their legs, and that is why today we can classify them as one of the most solid proposals to emerge from the Portuguese underground.
After the pandemic, the musicians hit the road and built an even stronger reputation than before, sublimely reflected in “Under The Southern Light”, their third full-length album, which hit the streets on February 23. Overwhelming and fearless, with a style influenced by what was done in the mid/late 80s, TOXIKULL's return is stated as a sincere (and very convincing) tribute to a time in which heavy metal dominated both the radio and the stages.
