After a five-year hiatus, the UNDER THE DOOM festival finally returns for its eighth edition.

-> UNDER THE DOOM finally returns to celebrate its eighth edition and promises to envelop Lisbon in an atmosphere as dark as it is captivating, with some of the most emblematic names of the genre taking to the stage of MUSIC STATION (Lisbon's new concert hall, together to the Oriente Station) on October 18 and 19, 2024.

The bands confirmed for this return edition of UNDER THE DOOM are authentic legends in the most melancholic and shadowy margins of extreme metal:

With decades and decades of experience under their belts, Greeks ROTTING CHRIST and Norwegians BORKNAGAR, who headline the first day of the event, are well known for the way they took their black metal roots to create dark, symphonic and progressive sounds, that try to refute rigid stylistic definitions. Both bring with them their most praised most recent albums, “Pro Xristou” and “Fall”, respectively.

No less famous or influential, the Swedes TIAMAT are true pioneers of the most atmospheric heavy music, they will headline the second day of UNDER THE DOOM and promise to star in a show full of nostalgia, playing a bill entirely dedicated to "Clouds" and "Wildhoney", two albums that left an indelible mark on several generations with a sound that was both aggressive and captivating.

A much more recent creation, Norwegians ABYSSIC bring together former members of Dimmu Borgir, Susperia and Asagraum on their lineup, and will bring a dense, apocalyptic atmosphere to the event.

As for international names confirmed for this return of UNDER THE DOOM, the participation of the Italians NOVEMBRE, the Irish MOURNING BELOVETH and the Chileans WOODEN VEINS is also assured, with the Portuguese nationals SINISTER, PROCESSOFGUILT, ANZV and MUSIC IN LOW FREQUENCIES to complete the poster for an unmissable event for fans of extreme metal, in what is already expected to be an epic journey to a dark and desolate world, painted in very dark shades of gray.

Price calendar:

Until August 31st, tickets for UNDER THE DOOM 2024 are €40 (first day), €45 (second day) and €80 (two-day pass). September 1st, ticket prices will increase by €5 for one-day tickets and €10 for two-day passes.
