On January 11, 2025, the historic 30th edition of the Mangualde Hardmetalfest will take place, organized by Rocha Produções.

Launched in 1997, it remains one of the 10 oldest metal festivals in the world and the oldest in the Iberian Peninsula.

This special edition lineup will feature one of the best old-school death metal bands in the world, ASPHYX from the Netherlands, headlining alongside the British CONAN, who promise to set the crowd ablaze with their stoner/doom metal.

The New Wave of British Metal is a staple, and DESOLATION ANGELS are among its representatives, making their debut in Portugal. The legendary British band LAWNMOWER DETH will also debut in Portugal, with their fun thrash/crossover sure to delight fans.

YOTH IRIA from Greece, featuring original members of Rotting Christ, will also debut in Portugal and are the darkest band of the festival.

For speed/thrash enthusiasts, the Italian BUNKER 66 and Portuguese SPEEDEMON are must-sees.

The Brazilian MEGGERA will bring the grooviest vibes to the festival!

The national lineup is completed by NAGASAKI SUNRISE, LORD OF CONFUSION, and RAGEFUL. Between bands, Vítor Ferreira will entertain the crowd with Chaotic Therapy.
