With a discography spanning around two dozen original albums dating back to 1968, Ian Anderson's Jethro Tull are a true British rock institution, having played a variety of styles throughout their long career, from blues-rock to jazz fusion, later passing through folk, heavy and even classical music to create their own vision of what became known as progressive rock or symphonic rock, a movement of which they are one of the exponents.

The group, which currently consists of frontman Ian Anderson and musicians including bassist David Goodier, keyboardist John O'Hara, drummer Scott Hammond and guitarist Joe Parrish, remains active live and on record, having released a new album , 'The Zealot Gene', in 2022: A dozen live works also reinforce the fact that Jethro Tull has always been an acclaimed force on stage, a fact that earned him the bows of many of his peers, from Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden to Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam or even Nick Cave.

With several sales and critical successes, such as the classics Thick as a Brick, A Passion Play or War Child and Songs From The Wood, Jethro Tull has forged a unique identity that has marked generations of fans.
