It marks the debut in Portugal and eagerly anticipated visit of Greek Black Metal veterans, VARATHRON.
SINISTER from the Netherlands is another headlining act in the festival and is an unmissable name in the global Death Metal scene.
Bringing references from the 80s to traditional Heavy Metal, the Belgians OSTROGOTH, along with the return of the Germans HATE SQUAD with their Hardcore/Power Thrash, are other highlights of the lineup.
Also, making their debut in Portugal are the Greek doomsters ACID MAMMOTH.
Vampire, Gothic, Obscure – that's the sound of the veteran Italians CULTUS SANGUINE.
From the home country, GROG and their death/grind return to Mangualde after years, the Azorean MORBID DEATH, the traditional metal of CRUZ DE FERRO, the grind of GRINDEAD, and the thrash of M.O.R.G are making their absolute debut on the HMF stages.
